Role
Veeam is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to contribute to infrastructure and frameworks used to develop and test their Veeam Kasten data management platform, purpose-built for Kubernetes, ensuring top-tier security and excellence. The team is passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Rolling out and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures used for product development and testing.
- Building test frameworks and enhancing product test coverage.
- Implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Developing tools to automate technical daily routines.
- Developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code templates.
- Preparing technical documentation and specifications.
Technologies
Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Golang, Bash, Git, OpenShift, Rancher, Google GKE, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, VMware TKG(s).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation.
- Experience developing and maintaining test frameworks.
- Experience with large-scale CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and related cloud-native projects.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and functional code using high-level programming languages.
- Comfort with shell scripting or other scripting languages like Python.
- Strong ownership of projects and good communication skills.
Advantageous Skills
- Experience developing in Golang.
- Experience with public cloud APIs like AWS.
