Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Learn the key-points of a Cloud Infrastructure and the tasks behind its creation.
• Work with Cloud Architects to design, implement, and provision infrastructures across cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Collaborate with international and agile team members to address complex technical requirements and deliver high-quality results and solutions.
• Develop, provision, and automate the enhancement of existing infrastructures and running services to ensure resiliency, redundancy, and optimize maintenance efforts.
• Build expertise to become a professional platform orchestrator administrator and maintainer, providing support for containerized Java applications handled via Kubernetes.
• Utilize cutting-edge modern open-source frameworks such as Terraform, Quarkus, Docker, ArgoCD, and GitHub Enterprise.

• Successfully completed University studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or comparable fields.
• 1+ years of experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience with AWS services including EKS, RDS, MSK, Redis, EC2, Secret Manager.
• AWS Practitioner certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of customer centricity as a success factor.
• High analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good communication skills in English and Polish. German is a plus.
• Openness to a hybrid work model, with one day per week in the Katowice office.
