Job Overview
Wargaming is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the IT infrastructure team in Warsaw. The role involves the operation of hardware and software infrastructure, internal core services, and virtualization and containerization platforms. You will collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. Occasional international travel may be required.
Responsibilities

Internal virtualization and containerization platforms operations:
- Server and storage hardware planning, installation, and operation, including component deployment and operations with automation tools and GitOps.
- Assist with hardware procurement, providing cost-effective solutions based on customer requirements.
- Ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of the infrastructure throughout the service life cycle.
- Contribute to internal team services, improve automation processes, and enhance service observability.
Requirements
- Experience with Dell and HPE servers and storage systems, including deployment and operations.
- Work experience with VMware vSphere virtualization platform.
- Basic experience with Veeam Backup systems.
- Professional work experience with Linux and Windows systems and system administration tasks.
- Experience in troubleshooting applications at system and network levels.
- Understanding of modern systems and network protocols.
- Basic understanding of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and experience with them.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes orchestration principles and experience.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD methodologies and experience with tools (e.g., GitLab, Argocd).
- Basic experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Python).
- Basic experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
- English level: Pre-Intermediate.
Additional Skills
- Expertise in building large-scale, high-volume, secure, efficient, and resilient environments.
- Experience using Bash and Python for routine operations and automation.
- Experience making decisions with minimal supervision.
