Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for building products that customers love, working with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that align with the company's vision and strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analyze product feedback to understand customer needs in data protection and security.
- Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap for your area.
- Translate the roadmap into detailed feature specifications and requirements, prioritizing new capabilities.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and QA teams to deliver a market-leading product.
- Define and measure success metrics for product areas.
- Execute product launches with marketing and PR teams, ensuring go-to-market readiness.
- Evangelize your product area and Veeam through various channels.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager for enterprise products, or 6+ years of related experience (Sales Engineering, Engineering, QA, Technical Support) in the data protection or data security vertical.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering a product or feature through its full lifecycle.
- Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Strong bias for action, ownership mentality, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with technical teams and executives.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience building B2B SaaS software.
- Experience in the data protection industry.
- Familiarity with Veeam products (e.g., Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, Veeam Backup and Replication).
- Exposure to Microsoft APIs, especially for Microsoft 365 and Azure.
