Your role

You will be a member of the Payroll Crew within Group HR Technology, which is automating and simplifying HR services along the employee lifecycle, from onboarding, vetting, international mobility, payroll to exit process, leveraging state-of-the-art technology solutions.

We’re looking for an engineer to:

  • design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our internal clients and employees.
  • apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment.
  • ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • build observability into our solutions to monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
  • continuously up-skill, learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.

Your team

You’ll be working in an agile and autonomous team in the Group Operations & Technology Office (GOTO) in Krakow with the option to work from home for up to two days per week.

  • high proficiency and 8+ years’ experience with SAP HCM modules (Personnel Administration and Payroll Accounting), in SAP Customization (Wage types, Schema and Rules) and ABAP Workbench development, with the ability to design and build reusable solutions across multiple lines of business.
  • preferably a proven track of work experience in cloud (MS Azure platform preferred) in an agile SDLC environment, leveraging modern programming languages, DevOps, SQL and noSQL databases, and test-driven development.
  • preferably additional experience of integrating SAP HCM with Azure Databricks
  • you hold a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • you are a strong communicator, fluent in English, from making presentations to technical writing.
