Role Importance: SimCorp provides specialized software and expertise to financial institutions. Our flagship product, SimCorp Dimension, is a modular system offering a complete solution for investment management for banks, asset managers, and insurance companies. This requires deep financial services knowledge and a thorough understanding of client needs.

Responsibilities: * Debug C# & APL code, developing and implementing fixes for crashes and errors, ensuring high-quality code solutions. * Collaborate with business consultants and other developers to analyze and resolve client issues. * Support business consultants by explaining existing code functionality. * Investigate and resolve client-reported system performance issues related to C# & APL modules, focusing on broader code implications, not just C# development. * Replicate client-observed issues in internal environments for debugging and analysis. * Engage directly with product support and clients via phone, remote connections, and on-site visits. * Serve as a key liaison between Support teams and the Central Product Department. * Note: This role is based in Manila and may require occasional weekend/public holiday work and extended hours.

Qualifications: * 3-5+ years of C#.Net experience, including Winforms. * Experience supporting desktop applications. * Familiarity with functional programming languages such as APL, F#, or Haskell is advantageous. * Proficiency in the .NET framework and object-oriented programming design principles. * Strong tracing and debugging skills, with experience using common debugging tools. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Willingness and ability to read, understand, and analyze complex code. * A curious mindset with a drive to acquire and apply broad knowledge across different areas. * Interest and capability to work with complex architectures, both front-end and back-end. * Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently when needed. * Ability to perform effectively in time-sensitive situations and manage multiple priorities. * Knowledge of or strong interest in financial concepts, both theoretical and practical, is beneficial.
