Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and executing projects and data quality initiatives within the CDAO. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, particularly within Agile and Scrum frameworks. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope, while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple high-priority projects within the CDAO, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
- Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive project execution, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to changing project needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including both IT and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining high-quality project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Jira and Confluence
