PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

To design best-in-class experiences of merchants and users in all customer journeys.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Designing user experience features and user flows, and testing them heavily with end users
  • Planning, supervising and conducting user research (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Transforming ideas into products of user-friendly interfaces and communication
  • Creating wireframes, mockups and clickable prototypes for desktop and mobile screens
  • Bringing ideas to improve the experience with PayU products and services
  • Maintaining the highest standards of design and applying the best practice
  • Cooperating with colleagues from different teams in and outside the region: product, development, customer support, marketing, legal, treasury, sales, external partners
  • Other UX-related tasks requested by direct manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of professional design and research experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial or e-commerce industry, designing for business or consumer-focused products at scale
  • 5+ years of experience designing solutions focused on inclusivity and accessibility
  • Multiple years of experience owning and driving complex projects
  • Experience building design systems
  • Proficient in Figma, Miro (or other UX/UI design tools)
  • A strong desire for creative problem-solving, exploring customers’ painpoints, needs and desires
  • Fluent communication (spoken and written) in English
