Software Engineer (React/Node.js)

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional Agile team responsible for prototyping, developing and implementing digital products across the technology stack. This role requires in-depth programming expertise, as well as the ability to contribute to analysis, design, testing and operations.

How you will get the job done

• contributing to early solutions by supporting Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and others to review the feasibility and estimate
• developing code and automated tests to meet functionality and acceptance criteria
• ensuring the team's code is managed, peer-reviewed and meets standards by participating in the review process
• supporting the deployment of the application to higher environments by following and supporting the CI/CD process as necessary
• making project and product feature documentation according to standards
• analysing defects/incidents and resolving them according to agreed priority
• understanding and effectively participating in the team's core processes (planning, bug fixing, metrics review, etc.)
• sharing new ideas and adapting work when circumstances change
• listening to and acting upon feedback from managers and peers
• learning to interview and assess candidates to build a diverse team
• developing high-quality, error-free code for seamless collaboration
• being capable of reading and navigating code written by others

• fluency in English
• 2+ years of working experience in a similar role using IDE and CI/CD related tools (e.g. Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Git, Docker)
• proficiency in front-end development with React, Node.js and Docker containers
• the ability to implement solutions according to project requirements
• knowledge of software development and design methodologies
• knowledge of cloud environments (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud)

Nice to have

• familiarity with GenAI/Chatbot platforms (Cognigy, Dialogflow, Azure Bot Service, etc.) is a plus
