As a Software Engineer - Marketplace & Integrations you will be in the heart of this iteration cycle with the opportunity to travel onsite to co-innovate with our customers in Europe and North America. Then work with our internal teams to turn these into valuable solutions available in our Marketplace.

This role is a rare opportunity to accelerate your engineering career working with senior leadership and opening the door towards difficult to land roles such as architect, product manager or tech lead.

Your responsibilities

• Rapid prototyping – Build proof-of-concept integrations using Embedded Apps, Authenticated Links, public APIs, webhooks, iPaaS tools and AI Agents.
• Developer-first docs – Continuously review and improve our public developer documentation & SDKs; open PRs instead of tickets.
• Partner enablement – Co-run hackathons with customers & ISVs; mentor our partner’s developer teams and work with product teams to improve our extension points based on feedback.
• Solutions evangelism – Create plug-and-play integration templates, sample connectors, and code snippets for our ecosystem; publish how-to articles, take part in webinars, and speak at community events to showcase best practices.
• Innovation scouting – Collaborate with strategic partners to test emerging tech, such as, agentic AI capabilities: autonomous LLM agents that plan, decide, and act through Beekeeper APIs; retrieval-augmented copilots that surface knowledge on demand.
• Field feedback loop – Travel (up to ~1 week/quarter) to customers or events to innovate together and ship fast.

What we look for in you

• Track record of shipping: You’ve turned an idea into a public product or integration that real users rely on—and you can tell us how you changed it after launch.
• Hackathon DNA: You regularly join (or host) hackathons; be ready to share the story of your latest one.
• Full-stack fluency: You’re proficient in at least one backend technology such as Java, Python, Node, or Ruby, and either have experience with frontend technologies like TypeScript and React or are eager to learn them. You’re familiar with REST/GraphQL APIs and OAuth flows.
• API craftsmanship: You think in webhooks, idempotency keys, and versioning strategies.
• Get-it-done mindset: Bias for action, ability to self-prioritize without waiting for PM/UX direction, excitement about leveraging Gen-AI and low-code tooling to move faster.
• Partner charisma: Clear written & spoken communication (English), ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points

• Published apps on Slack, Teams, Shopify, Atlassian, or similar marketplaces.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms (Workato, Zapier, Make) or edge/runtime environments (Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda@Edge).
• Open-source contributions to SDKs, CLIs, or dev-tools.
• Knowledge of workforce-tech domains (scheduling, payroll, EHS, IoT).
