Are you ready to embark on a dynamic journey at the forefront of technology, where innovation meets legacy systems? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mainframe Network Administrator to be an integral part of our passionate team.

Your job in a nutshell:

You will join a team supporting large scale Mainframe platform. The position requires an experienced specialist with at least 5 years of experience supporting the Mainframe Network environment. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining the integrity and data, IP security of the Mainframe's host communication systems and associated program products. 

What will you be doing:

  • managing complex production plans, 
  • creating production manuals, 
  • implementing changes, 
  • analyzing and debugging current configuration, 
  • handling incidents during work hours and also during on-call support 24x7
  • providing technical support for customer, 
  • pro-actively signaling system needs for updates or optimization, 
  • resolving assigned problems in scheduled time frames, 
  • actively participating in weekly team meetings.

  • University degree in Computer Science, 
  • At least 5 years of experience as IBM Mainframe specialist (zSeries) with focus on network technologies,
  • Configure, debug and maintain TCPIP and VTAM subsystems configurations, 
  • Knowledge of all products using SNA & IP (DB2, CICS, TSO/ISPF, Netview, Connect:Direct, JES2), 
  • Configure and implement AT-TLS rules, 
  • Configure and implement IPSEC policies, 
  • Secure Encrypted data transfers (NDM, SFTP and FTP/TLS), 
  • Tcpip trace analysis – IP, Socket, OSA adapter, SNA, EE, 
  • Very good understanding of network related technologies (routing, protocols, IPv4, IPv6, etc) 
  • Very good written and verbal English skills,
  • Ability to work as a part of the team, 
  • Methodical approach to work, 
  • Excellent analytical skills, 
  • Stress resistant and problem-solving capabilities in case of emergency situations, 
  • Ability to deal with multi-task issues, 
  • Flexibility to be part of standby pool
