About the Team
Financial Markets (FM) has expertise combined with deep local market knowledge to deliver a variety of risk management, financing and investment solutions to our clients. The FM team offers capabilities across origination, structuring, sales, trading and research. Offering a full suite of fixed income, currencies, commodities, equities and capital markets solutions, FM has firmly established itself as a trusted partner with extensive on-the-ground knowledge and deep relationships.
Design, develop, and maintain data processing solutions using Java and SQL, focusing on complex financial instruments within the Derivatives domain.
*Build robust integrations between internal systems and external market data providers, ensuring seamless data flow and high availability. *Develop data storage and transformation logic in relational databases and data warehouses to support regulatory reporting and business analysis. *Perform in-depth data analysis, quality assurance, and validation to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. *Monitor and improve data pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability using modern tools and best practices. *Collaborate with quantitative analysts, business analysts, and risk managers to translate business requirements into technical implementations. *Support interface analysis and data modelling activities, contributing to system architecture improvements and design documentation. *Participate in Agile ceremonies and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the delivery process.

Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with Java programming and SQL, contributing directly to software development, data analysis, and system integration
- Contribute hands-on to backend development, writing clean and efficient Java code, and managing complex SQL queries for large datasets.
- Collaborate with development teams on system architecture, technical specifications, and API integrations.
- Perform in-depth data analysis, design ETL processes, and support reporting solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to planning and estimation.
- Support testing (unit, integration, UAT), code versioning (Git), and CI/CD pipeline execution (e.g., Docker, Jenkins).
- Document system designs and technical processes in tools like Confluence and JIRA.
- Help improve development standards and best practices across the SDLC
Knowledge of Cloud Services is a plus.
