In order to ensure the high quality and reliability of vehicle components and backend systems that are part of the Connect & Cloud ecosystem (under development since 2018), the team is building a specialized iOS application for one of the world's foremost automotive producers. This tool will enable comprehensive testing of functionality, integration, and performance of key system elements.
The app is written in Swift, utilizing the MVVM architecture with the intention to gradually migrate to SwiftUI for all new journeys and features.
Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
Meet release deadlines and organize new version distribution to customers via TestFlight.
Collaborate with designers and product teams to bring ideas to life.
Ensure app performance is smooth, reliable, and optimized.
Debug and fix issues, and continuously improve code quality.
Integrate APIs and third-party libraries to enhance functionality.
Stay up to date with the latest iOS trends, tools, and best practices.
MUST
Significant experience developing iOS apps.
Up-to-date knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI and the drive to stay abreast of the latest features.
A good understanding of architecture and design patterns such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, Singleton, etc.
An understanding and hands-on experience of using different framework(s) for iOS application development (required to work with Protobuf, WebSockets, Core Location, Security etc) .
Ability to write the Unit test cases using, for example, XCTest and debug code using the Xcode tools and Instruments.
Hands-on experience using any Source Code Management Tools.
A good understanding of CI/CD, ideally using GitLab, and how to build and maintain pipelines.
Knowledge on Accessibility (W3C) and Analytics will be an added advantage.
