As a Senior Application Support Specialist, you will support the smooth operations of the applications and support project activities, including the transition from transform to support processes. You will also provide application maintenance and support services to users or service delivery functions and contribute to the operations of a dedicated application or group of applications.

How you will get the job done

  • supporting smooth application operation and developing project releases for multiple applications in your portfolio 
  • developing, customizing, and maintaining the Core Application SAP S/4HANA  
  • taking over the internal product responsibility for IT products or product groups 
  • ensuring compliance with required IT and risk controls 
  • planning, controlling, and monitoring external providers with regard to capacity, performance, and result quality for applications or application groups in the area of responsibility 
  • taking responsibility for or participating in the managing and reporting of all global cost elements of the service budgets, as well as verification of monthly invoicing 
  • advising business departments or IT colleagues on service offerings 
  • collaborating in transition projects and the further development of the service in general 
  • creating and maintaining procedures for existing processes and documentation around knowledge management, compliance regulations, and vulnerability remediation 
  • ensuring compliance based on internal and external regulations, and adherence to established product management processes

  • fluency in English 
  • university degree in IT or Business Information Management, or equivalent qualification 
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering results in a fast-paced, global and regulated business environment, especially in the Asset Management context 
  • expert level in SAP S/4HANA 
  • knowledge of cloud infrastructure 
  • planning, coordination, and organizational skills to ensure smooth application support processes, and as well as to assist the Product Manager or the customer directly 
  • proven quality and result orientation 
  • flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things, and able to propose innovative ideas

Nice to have

  • ITIL certified or have the readiness to pursue one 
  • experience with agile project methodologies and DevOps processes
