QA Engineer - Hybrid (Manual & Automation)

• Proven experience2-3 years of experience as a QA Tester, with both manual and automation testing Java & Selenium – creating new automation scripts and taking care of the maintenance of existing ones.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Xray).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - project is in the UK (no travel required).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Create and maintain automation test scripts using [e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or other tools].
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify system requirements and potential issues.
• Perform regression, smoke, performance, and exploratory testing.
• Document and track bugs, issues, and test results using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups in an Agile environment.
• Continuously improve test coverage, test reliability, and test execution.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve application quality and user experience.
