Big Data Developer

• Minimum of 3–6 years of professional experience in the IT industry
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Scala
• Strong expertise in the Hadoop ecosystem, including Spark, Scala, Hive, HDFS, SQOOP, Oozie, and Hadoop
• Basic knowledge of Jenkins, GIT, and programming languages such as Python/Java and SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

• Working in a global environment (follow-the-sun model) with a focus on proactivity, assertiveness, and effective team collaboration in English
• Regular delivery of IT solutions using Scrum methodology (every 2–3 weeks), with full ownership of assigned topics
• Defining technical architecture and integrating big data solutions, including Datalake use cases
• Developing and implementing data processing jobs (Spark/Scala), enhancing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Sonar, Kubernetes)
• Applying Agile and DevOps practices: BDD, TDD, clean code, pair programming, infrastructure as code
• Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies; ensuring quality assurance and alignment with testing standards
• Sharing knowledge, contributing to team-wide improvements, and collaborating via GitHub Enterprise
• Monitoring deployed systems, analyzing issues, providing post-release support, and driving continuous improvement
