As our client is growing rapidly, the SAP Platform ART is responsible for the architecture, governance and embedding of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
The SAP Business Technology Platform Team was founded in April 2020 and has been organized around defining the reference architecture, governance, ways of working (WoW) and ART enablement of Agile delivery / DevOps teams.
- Provide support to and enablement of the comprehensive architecture, functionality, economics, and architecture compliance of SAP BTP Cloud Application solutions and SAP HANA Cloud solutions for our client's technology area.
- Define solutions together with the architects at both an enterprise and project level. You will collaborate with various other members of the IT organization / ARTs.
- You implement SAP Cloud Applications, SAP Build Applications, and SAP HANA Cloud on BTP.
- Perform strategic monitoring on SAP Cloud Applications and deliver SME support towards the growing BTP OPS team.
- Manage and drive quality of the SAP Cloud Applications set-up.
- Work according to (an develop) best practices and architectural principles defined by the SAP BTP Team.
- Share your skills / knowledge and help to improve the best practices and enable colleagues.

MUST
- Excellent understanding of CAP / Node.js
- Knowledge and skilled in various coding languages (e.g. Python, Mendix, etc)
- Knowledge in SAP Build Solutions (SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Code)
Is certified for at least in 1, preferably in 2 BTP areas the engineer works in. Relevant certifications are:
o SAP Certified Associate - Backend Developer - SAP Cloud Application Programming Model,
o SAP Certified Professional - Solution Architect - SAP BTP,
o SAP Certified Associate - Database Administrator - SAP HANA,
o SAP Certified Associate - SAP Build Work Zone - Implementation and Administration,
o SAP Certified Associate - Low-Code/No-Code Developer - SAP Build,
o SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP BTP Extensions with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model
Experience with developing using GIT based automated deployment pipelines
- Knowledge of OData / REST services
- Understanding of SAP HANA (2.0 / Cloud), Data Modelling and writing procedures
- Knowledge of SQL, SAP SAC, MS PowerBI
- Bachelor degree or higher
