We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative Create: Editor Extensions team. You will help shape the future of developer tools while working in a fully remote, globally distributed environment. You will be working on the VS Code extension and the GitLab Language Server.
What You'll Do
- Build and enhance AI-powered features for GitLab platform using TypeScript & Ruby
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional engineering teams
- Contribute to both frontend and backend development of our core product
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure high-quality solutions
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Solid experience with Ruby on Rails and API development
- Demonstrated interest in AI/ML technologies and their practical applications
- Experience with Git and understanding of DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bonus Points
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience with large language models or AI frameworks
- Knowledge of Lua, Python, C#, Kotlin or Rust
- Knowledge of Vue.js, React or Next.js
