Business Consultant / IT Systems Architect

• Analyze business and technical requirements related to IT infrastructure for German uniformed services.
• Design and develop IT system architectures tailored to the specific needs of sector public security units.
• Consult stakeholders on process optimization, technology selection, and application implementation.
• Coordinate system deployments in a complex infrastructure environment.
• Design solutions that support digitalization and the development of mobile technologies within IT infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with data security requirements and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with technical teams, developers, system administrators, and representatives of uniformed services.
• Prepare technical and process documentation.

• A degree in IT, Systems Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in IT system implementations for the public sector.
• Understanding of IT systems in law enforcement agencies (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of IT security systems, including encryption protocols, identity management, and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance.
• Familiarity with GDPR regulations and German data protection laws.
• Knowledge of architectural standards and frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman Framework.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and operational departments.
• Proficiency in German (C1 level).
• Willingness to be present at law enforcement facilities in Germany and work in a hybrid model.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as TOGAF, PRINCE2, ITIL.
• Experience working in international teams.
• Background in projects for the law enforcement or defense sector (e.g., Police, Military, Border Guard).
