We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Murex Environment Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10+ years of experience in Murex 3.1 applications.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing Murex environments, ensuring seamless system operations to support trading and risk management activities, and implementing system solutions to resolve business problems.

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous Pods. You'll be working in the Global Risk and Deal Stores stream team focusing on Swaps Trade Capture crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environment Support & Maintenance: Manage Murex environments, including setup, configuration, and optimization for trading and risk management functions. Coordinate with business teams for user rights creation and management.
  • Incident Management: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure high system availability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Murex interfaces, Datamart reports, and environmental issues. Ensure adherence to SLA, escalation procedures, and ITIL standards.
  • Release Management: Manage and deploy new Murex releases, patches, and upgrades, ensuring compatibility and minimal disruption. Participate in major and minor releases to production and support production deployments.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks such as environment setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor Murex environments to ensure stability and optimal performance. Monitor and support Murex EOD Prod & UAT batches.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including issue logs, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards.

MUST
  • 10+ years of total experience with 3-5 years of Murex experience
  • Proficient in Murex Environment & Configuration Management, Murex Datamart Reporting, MxML Exchange Interface technical setup, Production Support, EOD Batch Support, and DevOps.
  • Good knowledge of databases including MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Dollar Universe, CTRL-M, and Autosys.
  • Proficient in version controlling tools like GitLab.
  • Experience with testing tools such as ONYX (Mx-test) and ALM.
  • Knowledge of ticketing tools like BMC Remedy, ITSM, and ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with other tools like XLDeploy, XLRelease, MXMON.
  • Experience with UNIX operating systems.
