Responsibilities
- Install and maintain monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana) and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement a backup strategy, execute regular backups, and test recovery processes.
- Provide internal IT support, diagnose hardware/software issues, and document resolutions.
- Analyze system performance, identify improvements, and collaborate on automation solutions.
- Maintain databases, optimize SQL queries, and monitor performance.
- Develop scripts (Python, Bash) for task automation and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align strategies and participate in team meetings.
- Create and maintain system documentation and report performance metrics.
- Manage tools like Jira and Confluence for incident and change management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and explore new tools for improvement.

- Successfully completed university studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, physics or similar.
- 1-3 years in a DevOps or automation role, preferably within the automotive industry, hands-on experience in managing backup and recovery processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Bash, Java, and C.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana) and automation scripting.
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Very good communication skills in English.
- Open to work in a hybrid mode, with 2-3 days at our office in Katowice.
