- Enhancing business ownership for the data by involving business areas in the work
- Establishing a single trusted source for Master & Reference data and consolidating the relevant data there from multiple domains and sources
- Eliminating alternative data sources by capturing key business needs
- Creating product visions describing the target state for the data in the new source
- Creating a robust but flexible business data models for each data area and harmonizing the data
- Establishing data governance and implementing data governance recipe for the new data source
- Setting up data quality assurance for the new data source
- Setting up data life cycle management for the new data source
- Simplifying and automating related E2E business processes together with business areas
- Exposing data to consumers via standard API/Kafka interface
- Retiring irrelevant data and finding a new home for data that will not be under MDM team responsibility in the future
- Preparing for decommissioning of legacy Master and Reference data system MDN

- Strong general database knowledge.
