The Data Services team's mission is to accelerate innovation by making data simple, accessible, and valuable. We provide the infrastructure and solutions that enable developers and enterprises to gain critical insights from data. We optimize their applications and build next-generation experiences on Akamai.
As Senior Product Manager, you'll lead the lifecycle of our Cloud Logs product line within our data portfolio. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of observability at Akamai by focusing on delivering high-quality solutions that provide critical insights to our customers.
As a Product Manager Senior, you will be responsible for:
- Developing a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends in observability, specifically for cloud logging
- Creating and championing the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall Data Services strategy
- Gathering requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and prioritizing development
- Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, including product managers, engineering, UX & marketing
- Driving go-to-market strategy and execution for new features and products, including pricing, positioning, and launch planning
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have demonstrated success in a technology organization, with a focus on data services, observability, or related fields
- Have excellent understanding of cloud-native technologies, logging solutions in public cloud environments, and industry trends in observability
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Have ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data driven mindset
