Job Description

Project - the aim you'll have

As a ServiceNow Engineer, you will develop and maintain the ServiceNow platform for a prominent client in Western Europe. This client specializes in managed services for large corporations and government entities in the BENELUX region. The primary focus will be on IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) implementations, ensuring the platform meets high standards of functionality and performance.

Position - how you'll contribute

  • Develop Custom Solutions: Leverage ServiceNow’s capabilities, including Flow DesignerIntegrationHub, and App Engine Studio, to design and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations aligned with business needs.
  • UI Builder Expertise: Use UI Builder to create robust and user-friendly workspaces. Customize UI components and configurations to enhance the user experience, implementing advanced scripting for dynamic and responsive interfaces.
  • Adopt Best Practices: Implement best practices for code reusability, maintainability, and scalability. Ensure solutions are efficient, high-quality, and aligned with organizational needs.
  • Consultative Approach: Engage with stakeholders to understand their business needs, provide insights, and align technical solutions with organizational goals. Act as a consultative partner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Independent Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ServiceNow environment. Use critical thinking to provide efficient, innovative solutions and act independently where needed.
  • Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow updates, features, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to improve existing processes and ensure the platform leverages the latest advancements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, custom solutions, and development processes. Ensure all documentation is clear, accessible, and useful for other team members.

Additional skills – the edge you have

  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM or CSM).
  • Knowledge of ITOM as a secondary or “nice-to-have” skill.

Expectations - the experience you need

  • Experience: 1+ years as a ServiceNow Engineer with a focus on ITSM, CSM, and/or CSDM. 
  • Core Proficiency:
  • ITSM: Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change Management, Service Catalog, and Service Level Management.
  • CSM: Experience in Case Management, Customer Service Portals, and Knowledge Base configuration.
  • CSDM: Familiarity with the Common Service Data Model for streamlined service modeling.
  • UI Builder: Proficient in UI Builder with a track record of creating and customizing workspaces. Ability to develop components and layouts and utilize advanced scripting for enhanced user experiences.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and custom app development on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Problem Solving and Independence: Able to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bringing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Polish (minimum B2+ level).
