Team: In the Telemetry Control Unit team we develop firmware for IoT devices to enable remote control and diagnostics of Viessmann systems as well as smart-home features to improve user’s comfort and overall environment impact.

We are looking for an IoT Cybersecurity Engineer to join us in creating robust and secure software for an embedded platform.

Your responsibilities:

  • Engage in the system/product definition phase to identify applicable requirements derived from regulations.
  • Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments to establish high-level security requirements for the system/product.
  • Contribute to the definition, implementation, and enhancement of secure development processes.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to design the security architecture of embedded devices.
  • Review the implementation of security controls specific to embedded systems.
  • Participate in the design and review of cybersecurity validation for embedded systems.
  • Prepare documentation for certification purposes.
  • Participate in incident response efforts and perform root cause analysis.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and trends relevant to embedded environments.

  • Strong knowledge of embedded system concepts, Linux, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and IoT security.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with hardware security, microcontrollers, and firmware analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
