As part of their IT transformation, they are enhancing their Azure Data Platform to support data analytics across multiple business divisions. We are looking for an Azure Developer to join a talented team working on cutting-edge technologies to support their data initiatives. Your Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
• Collaborate with divisional stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions on the Azure Data Platform.
• Provide L3 support to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of the data platform.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and development of self-service data solutions, enabling divisions to manage their data analytics.
• Work closely with cross-functional agile teams, leveraging tools like Azure DevOps to plan and track progress in 2-week sprints.
• Assist in the integration of Snowflake for relational database solutions and support PowerBI Premium reporting.
• Ensure secure and efficient operation of cloud services using Azure Security, Key Vault, and Azure Monitoring tools.
• Support the transition and migration of existing services to the new data platform.

Our Requirements

To succeed at this job, you must have:

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, specifically with: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Gen2, Event Grid, Event Hub, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Networking (vnet, subnet, network security groups), Monitoring tools (App Insight, Azure Monitor), Azure RBAC and Entra ID.
• Experience with Git, ideally within Azure DevOps.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment with tools such as Azure DevOps for task management.

It would be preferred if you have:

• Familiarity with Snowflake for Data Warehousing.
• Knowledge of PowerBI, React for web app development.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally within Azure DevOps.
• Experience with dbt and Agile frameworks.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience in data-driven organizations is a plus.
