We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow our talented Support Automations team within the Tools & Workflows group.
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to reducing Bolt’s operational costs by automating Customer Support using advanced Machine Learning. This team works at a scale of over 100 million customers across multiple business lines, leveraging cutting-edge technology. Are you ready for the challenge?
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Leading and expanding a team of 4-7 Software Developers, including recruiting new talent.
- Collaborating with tech leads on backend architecture and design while conducting code reviews.
- Driving product development by working closely with Product Managers and Data Scientists, ensuring optimal team performance.
- Taking ownership of features and initiatives from concept to execution.
- Sharing knowledge, promoting engineering best practices, and fostering a feedback-driven culture.
About you:
- You have 2+ years of engineering leadership experience with 4+ years of software development experience.
- You have a strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems, with a focus on writing clean, secure, and maintainable code.
- You have data-driven decision-making skills and a passion for seeing projects through to completion.
- You thrive in fast-paced, customer-centric environments with a deep empathy for end-users.
- You have strong English communication skills and a university degree in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent experience.
