As a Principal Engineer:

  • you will be a technical leader, architecting complex features, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers to create scalable solutions.
  • You will work on an internal product that accelerates clinical trials globally, providing technical expertise to a team of engineers for developing and maintaining features. You will focus on application architecture, ensuring high-quality software, and developing backend applications using Microservices architecture.
  • You'll work with Quality Engineers to ensure automated end-to-end test coverage and align proposed solutions with software architects.
  • Emphasizing software quality, you'll write unit and integration tests, promote reusable code and quality standards, and utilize the latest .NET tech stack on Azure. You will also ensure application security and closely collaborate with product and design teams to bring the product vision to life.

  • 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in .NET backend and Microservices architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience in enterprise architecture design in Azure
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
  • Fluency in the C# language, .NET platform and variety of well-known libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with building Azure-hosted applications using native cloud solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Experience with setting-up observability standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments. You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure.
  • Experience in technical leading group of developers, being responsible for outcome delivery.
  • Solid knowledge of testing principles to grow tight development feedback loop.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching engineers and provide technical feedback to their ideas.
