- Review business requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to the defined specification
- The estimation, prioritization, and coordination of testing activities
- The execution of the agreed test scope before software solution implementation
- Assist with debugging support, understanding defects identified and managing them through to resolution, proactively fixing common errors, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout
- Defect database maintenance and the tracking of quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts
- Gathering test data requirements and automating the generation of the data; the creation of interfaces to expose functionality and data for testing purposes
- Contributing to the development of Test tools and accelerators; capturing valuable assets that may be applied in a wider ECS context, ensuring that the Practice QA and Engineering function have visibility of these for future reuse

Must have:
- Written and spoken Japanese language proficiency (equivalent of at least JLPT N3 or higher, official JLPT certification is not a must)
- Written and spoken English language proficiency (the equivalent of B2 or higher)
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills (to be working with Japan and CEE-based teams)
- Modern software engineering – Agile and DevOps

- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Solid API testing skills (REST, WebAPI)
