We are looking for an experienced Cloud Backend Developer to join our team and work on the middle layer of our IoT platform. This is a microservice-based backend, hosted in Microsoft Azure, utilizing various IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services developed in C#.
Your responsibilities
- Develop cloud-based applications using C#, .NET, Kubernetes, and Service Bus.
- Design and implement database models (NoSQL/Microsoft SQL Server).
- Set up API integrations with various third-party services.
- Automate deployments using CI/CD best practices.
- Ensure adequate test coverage, including unit and integration tests.
- Consistently deliver high-quality work on time, both independently and as part of a team.
- Cloud implementations expertise in C# (MS Azure experience is preferred).
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture, design patterns, and REST principles.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices (version control, branching, merging).
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure (Kubernetes, Service Bus/Queueing like RabbitMQ, Cosmos DB, BLOB storage, MS SQL, Entity Framework Core).
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in requirements-based software design and development.
- Proven expertise in bug analysis and resolution.
- Experience with modern software development tools, SDKs and IDEs.
- Solid understanding of testing practices to ensure software quality and stability.
- Experience with (micro)services development as part of an end-to-end edge-cloud system.
- Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
