Our client is an UK subsidiary of a Global Financial Institution.

Role is for an experienced Senior Test Analyst with expertise in SEPA Instant Payments to work in the Payment Change Team (within Payment Operation).

The Payment Operations team is responsible for servicing the bank's Corporate Client payments, multi-currency direct and indirect clearing services, fraud transaction monitoring, industry developments across all cash related functions and supporting the EMEA Operations Accountable Executive (AE) as Payment Service owner.

The Payment Operations team leads on all payment related investment projects, regulatory changes and is responsible for industry changes linked to cash and settlement services and products.

  • Senior Test Analyst will be responsible for reviewing the business requirements, traceability matrices and plans, designing test plans, scripts and executing test scripts along with other members of the team.
  • Senior Test Analyst will also be responsible for creating MI on test progress, lead on escalation of defects with internal teams and the vendor alongside the Senior Stakeholder responsible for the overall business delivery.
  • This role is specially to supporting testing of operational flows for SEPA Instant from both a customer payment and clearing perspective.
  • Work with the Payment Operations SMEs to understand how current system and operational processes are completed
  • Analyse existing business requirements, scheme rules and traceability matrices in order to create test plans and scripts that cover all business testing
  • Establish daily MI to report on the progress of testing
  • Lead on defect management ensuring quick escalation to internal teams including clearly articulating the issue
  • Able to work with multiple stakeholders both locally and in Head Office
  • Lead on the execution the test scripts with other project members ensuring resource requirements are planned in advance
  • Support training of wider team on new system

MUST
  • In depth knowledge of SCT Instant (will also consider those with in-depth knowledge of SCT)
  • Education / Qualifications: Degree educated or similar
