We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer specializing in Power Electronics to join our new team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing and power electronics systems for inverters, frequency converters, drive technology and PV-Storage systems. You will be working hand-in-hand with local hardware team to gain best quality and efficiency of developed solution.
Your responsibilities:
- Creation of requirements and concepts for the embedded software development of real-time capable, safety-related systems.
- Implementation of software components and module tests in C/C++.
- Optimization and integration of external and internal software components.
- Development of automated integration tests and tools for continuous integration and quality assurance.
- Development of debug and analysis tools.
- Overseeing the quality, documentation and release of software components.
- Bachelor's or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in the area of software development for embedded systems with real-time and safety requirements.
- Very good programming knowledge in C.
- Experience documenting software requirements, architecture and testing.
- Experience in working with Git and Jira.
- Knowledge of Python (is a plus).
- Experience in using electronic measurement instruments.
- Very good English skills (German is a plus).
