Join the Group Functions Analytics & BI team at Volvo Digital & IT, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming our company, the transport industry, and society at large. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Integrating multiple HR data sources (SAP HR, SAP Success Factors, Navigator, etc.) to ensure data security and accessibility for authorized personnel.
  • Designing end-to-end architecture for new Data and Analytics solutions on our Unified Data Platform, aiding Volvo Group’s transition to a data-driven company.
  • Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, data experts, and enterprise architects to identify new Business Use Cases and define their requirements.
  • Developing existing and creating new ingestion patterns for various data sources to onboard data onto Volvo’s UDP platform and collaborating with data engineers to deliver tailored ETL solutions.
  • Representing your business area in discussions with Volvo’s central data architecture and data platforms teams.

Become a part of our Data Architects Chapter - a friendly and knowledgeable group of 20 professionals based in Wrocław, Poland. In your assignments for GF Analytics & BI, you’ll collaborate with dedicated data teams, consisting of experienced Data Engineers and Data Analysts. You’ll work on new Business Use Cases, ideas, and requirements, and then support the implementation of the proposed solutions. Our multinational environment encourages collaboration across borders, so proficiency in English is essential.

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in designing and implementing complex data solutions, preferably on the Azure platform. Familiarity with tools such as Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, ADF, and Power BI is crucial.
  • Data ModelingIntegration Data Management skills: Proficiency in data modeling and managing data assets. Deep knowledge of various data integration patterns.
  • Analytical Mindset: Approach challenges with an analytical mindset. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Effective Communication skills: Ability to discuss architecture and solution requirements with both business stakeholders and technology experts.
  • Data privacy & anonymization: Experience with working with sensitive data, it's anonymization and protection, access management and GDPR compliance.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, and network topology, including firewalls and private endpoints. Focus on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Agility and Attention to Detail: Adaptability and willingness to learn in an agile and fast-paced environment. Maintain attention to detail and ensure long-term sustainability of designed solutions.

Additional Assets:

  • Familiarity with SAP data sources and tools (SAP HR, SAP BW, Success Factors), Qlik tools, , IBM CDC and Informatica cloud platform.
  • Experience in advanced data analytics and AI/ML, including OpenAI usage.
  • Programming skills in Python and PowerShell are advantageous.
  • Microsoft Azure / Data Bricks certificates are warmly welcomed.
