Senior PL/SQL Developer

• Collaborate within the Starks DevOps team to develop and maintain Oracle-based applications.
• Work on performance tuning, partitioning, and optimization of large Oracle databases.
• Handle complex SQL queries, database joins, aggregate functions, and analytical functions.
• Write, review, and maintain PL/SQL code including Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Bulk Processing.
• Manage Oracle DB Links, Views, Materialized Views, Global Temporary Tables, and Synonyms.
• Maintain Java-based applications and assist with upcoming Java tasks.
• Work with Unix systems and shell scripts for database management.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in CI/CD processes using tools like Git and Bamboo.

Must-Have Skills:

• SQL (Expert proficiency) – Capable of handling complex queries, with strong knowledge of joins, subqueries, and aggregate/analytical functions.
• PL/SQL (Expert proficiency) – Skilled in writing packages, procedures, functions, exception handling, triggers, and bulk processing.
• Oracle Database Management (Senior proficiency) – Experience with partitioning, index rebuilding, performance tuning, and using tools like Explain Plan and AWR.
• Java (Basic proficiency) – Some hands-on experience is required.
• Unix (Basic proficiency) – Comfortable with shell scripting and using Vi Editor.
• Strong communication skills – Ability to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
