Job Description

Sapiens is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team. That team is developing a complex information system, using Angular, Java Enterprise Edition and Oracle DB Technology for our client on polish market (project is held in polish). The system has a high architectural complexity and is highly scalable. That team is stable, has many years of design and technological experience, and is willing to share practical knowledge.

The scope of responsibilities would include part of points below:

• Development of new functionalities, maintenance and improvement of the software based on Java 8, Java 11 i Java 17, SpringBoot, WebServices, REST, Angular 8+, Oracle DB
• Participation in the design, architecture, implementation and testing phases
• Supporting the technical planning and work coordination with the team members
• Scalability and security are crucial for our products, so we care about data security, performance and code quality
• Coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs in a complex, large-scale project
• Translating functional requirements into technical design and development tasks
• Development of interfaces with external systems (REST, SOAP, ETL)
• Coordination and interaction with all responsible parties (e.g., Product Management and QA)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Java 8+ or SpringBoot 
• 2+ years of experience in DB

Additional advantages (not required)

• Experience in Angular, TypeScript, Sass
• Experience in working with DB: Oracle & PL/SQL /or other/,
• Experience in working with EJB, SQL, Hibernate, SVN/GIT, XML, SOAP
• Experience in using complex data and domain models – DB tables on a large scale
