Junior Virtualization Administrator

• Support and administration, resolving incidents affecting the operation/availability of high-profile production systems in private cloud: VMware, Hyper-V or OLVM
• Install, configure and maintain infrastructure products - including HA, disaster recovery, business continuity concepts.
• Manage and support blade and x86 servers hardware.
• Work with ITIL based service processes (Incident/Problem/Change Management)
• Creating and reviewing technical documentation for private cloud environments.

Experience with private cloud:

• Must have (at least one of the following): VMware vSphere (with vCenter), Hyper-V (with SCVMM) or OLVM

Nice to have:

• Knowledge or experience with public cloud providers
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI, bash)
• Base OS knowledge (Windows, Linux)
• Fundamental knowledge of data center networking, SAN storage
• Infrastructure troubleshooting skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
• Willingness to learn new technologies
