Java Developer (Controller)

Develop and implement innovative regulatory reporting software to support various global regulatory requirements, essential for meeting external regulatory obligations
Tackle complex big data challenges, ensuring data accuracy while handling millions of rows daily
Discover optimal methods for aggregating and presenting data to users, transitioning into a data scientist role
Utilize Java, Spring, Spark, and Scala technologies to create efficient data processing services within a data lake environment
Foster relationships with end users to grasp business needs and propose enhancements to existing tools and procedures
Attain a deep understanding of financial instruments across diverse asset classes, spanning from high-volume FX trades to intricate Commodities, Credit, Equities, and Interest Rate derivatives.

Proficiency in Java programming (min. 4 years experience)
Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and optimizing queries
Prior exposure to test-driven development practices
Experience working with big data principles, particularly utilizing Spark
Competence in Scala programming language
Familiarity with BPMN and systems based on user workflows
Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Robust organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, a sense of ownership, and commitment to follow-through
Sound comprehension of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance and resilience
Dedication to software quality, adept at writing clean code and fostering a culture of quality within teams
Eagerness to acquire new skills and explore emerging technologies
Background or keen interest in investment banking or financial products is advantageous
