About the Project - Building metrology equipment for precision measurements for optical systems. The project scope is commissioning the PLC automation software that will control the mechatronics of the metrology equipment.

Our team - The team will be part of a larger team that is working for our client that is a leader in the Integrated Circuits Lithography domain

Technologies used: PLC Siemens S7 1500, Simatic

  • Create and contribute to system architecture:

o Risk analysis and corresponding measurement definition to minimize the risks in the complete process chain.

o Assisting in MMDC (Machine and Material Damage Control) architecture, involving the design of engineering solutions to prevent collisions and potential equipment damage.

o Participating in the architecture development for both new and existing machines.

o Collaborating with the senior MMDC Control System Architects in the overall process design.

o Technical documentation for the designed engineering solutions.

  • Adhering to safety standards like EN 12100 and IEC 13849 when developing and implementing system architectures.
  • Carrying out commissioning activities at the machine and preparing test reports.
  • Development and programming of control software for machines and plants in TIA Portal.
  • Carrying out virtual software testing in a simulated test environment.
  • Troubleshooting the faults in the machine and providing solutions to fix the problems.
