- Monitoring the BW environment to ensure that the system remains operational with a focus on the importance of timely and accurate data and the impact this has to stakeholders.
- Resolving day to day issues that arise across the BW/BI estate, change requests will also form part of the overall delivery alongside the senior development team.
- Work with colleagues in Technology and Business teams to ensure a smooth handover and rollout of systems being deployed, with the ability to engage in non-technical discussions with stakeholders relating to the proposed technical solution.
- Support production deployments including month end processes that may require out of normal hours working. This includes the production of suitable documentation/release notes/knowledge base.
- Able to manage workload, with a focus on agreed estimates, deadlines and stakeholder management.
- Keen awareness of the BI market with a focus on newer methodologies that could benefit the firm.

- Operational and support experience of SAP BI/BW 7.5 and/or BW/4 HANA.
- Good understanding and experience in several (but not all) of the following skills:
- ETL Processes, Process chains, Data loading performance, Aggregates, DB Statistics, Index deletion
- BObj Integration (SQL Server, ODBC DSN)
- Open Hub and integration processes
- BW ABAP / OO Components / Enhancements / Basic Shell Scripts / AMDP
- Experience of BW data loads in the following area: FI/CO, SD, PS, HR, CRM, CATS
- Documentation of functional and technical specifications, solution designs and testing activities as appropriate during the development lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Management and be able to liaise directly with those requesting the technical solution, this could be colleagues within Technology, other business teams and the wider practice.
