For one of our clients in the Insurance Segment, we are searching for Data Security Analyst to join the Data Protection team as a junior team member
We are looking for support to our team within Data Security with several projects which focused on building and governing robust processes to manage file servers appropriately, and especially in high-risk locations. One of the main systems and solutions we are utilizing for it are Varonis, MS Purview, and managing Active Directory. Some of the daily activities we will be doing are going to be the discovery of the shares, managing permissions and restrictions to shares, communicating changes to the organisation, improving the current remediation process and maintaining the standards of this project.
As Data Security Analyst you will operate as detection subject matter expert, working with the CTO, Information Security and Customer's Group SOC
Support the administration of a Data Management solution to:
- Analyze and perform continuous remediation activities on unstructured data directories to update security to meet corporate standards.
- Support the Configuration of access entitlement reviews on remediated data with business data owners to validate access meets corporate requirements for data security.
- Administrate Active Directory
- Meet internal and external regulatory requirements for data discovery.
- Utilize the data service components to manage unstructured data such as data archiving & data migration.
- Create reports, metrics and dashboard data for Management review.
- Support the Account Administration teams for data security related events
- Perform daily/weekly routine platform (via Varonis) maintenance tasks, including (but not limited) to monitoring jobs, troubleshooting and resolving performance issues, error handling & health checks.
- Open, manage, and resolve platform/application issues with external application vendor(s).
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of operational procedures, documentation guides and remediation processes.
- Coordinate and interact with other groups within Global Technology to provide timely support and service.
- Be an advocate of technology and Customer's Global Policies & Standards.
MUST
- IT support experience with Microsoft tools
- Some experience in the field of IT Security and networking is required, but of a junior nature
- Competent use of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook
- Knowledge/experience of using the Varonis tool and Active directory (or Share Point Administration experience)
- Desired but not necessary- understanding of Windows SMB Fileshares and NTFS permissions
