We are actively seeking a motivated and experienced SAP Developer ABAP (Extended Warehouse Management). This role is crucial to our organization's success, involving collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and the Product Owner to drive the development of innovative solutions. Responsibilities:

  1. Custom Development:
  • Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP solutions to enhance and extend SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) functionalities.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and customize EWM objects including RF screens, PPF action, Warehouse Monitoring Nodes and relevant BAdls.
  1. Enhancements and User Exits:
  • Create enhancements and implement user exits in SAP EWM to meet specific business process requirements.
  • Work on modifications to standard SAP EWM functionalities to optimize warehouse processes.
  1. Interfaces and Integrations:
  • Developand maintain interfaces between SAP EWM and other SAP modules or external

systems like Transport Management, Yard Logistics, Production Planning, ECC etc.

  • Ensure seamless data flow and integration with third-party logistics systems or warehouse automation solutions.
  1. Performance Optimization:
  • Identify and implement performance improvements in custom ABAP code to optimize the overall performance of SAP EWM processes.
  • Conduct performance tuning and monitoring of ABAP programs.
  1. Debugging and Troubleshooting:
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to custom developments and integrations within the SAP EWM environment.
  • Utilize ABAP debugging tools for effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  1. Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for custom ABAP developments, including technical specifications, coding standards, and change logs.
  • Provide documentation for knowledge transfer to support and maintenance teams.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP EWM functional consultants,

business analysts, and other SAP developers, to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on SAP EWM-related development activities.
  1. Testing:
  • Conduct unit testing and support integration testing of custom ABAP developments.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed solutions.

MUST

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in ABAP development.
  • Extensive experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a focus on Extended Warehouse Management.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming for RICEFW objects, oData along with SAP HANA artifacts like CDS views, AMDPs, Table Functions etc.
  • Strong understanding of SAP EWM functionalities and processes.
  • Experience with SAP EWM data structures, master data, and integration points.
  • Knowledge of SAP EWM user exits, BAdls, and enhancement frameworks.
  • Knowledge of OOPS and experience in developing OOP-based ABAP applications.
  • Experience in designing form layouts using Adobe Forms.
  • Familiarity with SAP EWM configuration and customization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
NICE TO HAVE

Working experience with Agile methodologies and framework.

  • SAP Certified Development Professional - ABAP for SAP HANA
  • SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Cloud Platform Integration
