Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical requirements.
- Gather and document data extraction requirements for business intelligence and reporting purposes.
- BI Extractor Configuration:
- Configure and implement SAP Business Intelligence (BI) Extractors to extract relevant data from SAP.
- Customize BI Extractors to meet specific business needs and ensure data accuracy.
- Data Modeling:
- Work on data modeling activities, transforming raw data into meaningful and actionable insights.
- Define and create data structures, hierarchies, and relationships to support 81 reporting requirements.
- Performance Optimization:
- Identify and implement performance optimizations for 61 Extractors, ensuring efficient data extraction and minimal impact on source systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimize data loading processes.
S. Data Quality and Governance:
- Implement data quality checks and governance measures to maintain the integrity of extracted data.
- Collaborate with data stewards to address data quality issues and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI Extractor configurations, data models, and integration processes.
- Provide documentation for knowledge transfer to support and maintenance teams.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and other SAP consultants, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and assist in the creation of meaningful visualizations.
- Testing:
- Conduct testing of configurations to validate data accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to support end-to-end testing of 61 solutions.
- User Training and Support:
- Provide training to end users on using BI Extractors and interpreting the extracted data.
- Offer ongoing support to users, addressing queries and resolving issues related to BI data extraction.
MUST
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP Application Consultant with a focus on 81 Extractors and Business Intelligence.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Eil Extractors, data modeling, and integration with BI systems.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Warehouse (BW) or SAP HANA.
- Strong understanding of data quality and governance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience working in a Germany-based organization.
