One of the world's largest multichannel video programming distributor is searching for a Data Analyst. The project focuses on a video streaming platform development. You'll be developing and maintaining a mixture of production-ready components for various digital enterprise systems, including Metadata and Content Management systems. Our team spans across multiple time zones (majorly, USA & Poland) and covers the entire product life cycle, including architecture, design, coding, DevOps, testing, and the rest of the software development activities required to ensure uninterrupted content streaming service to millions of customers worldwide. We work using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a process framework and use software development best practices such as CI/CD, TDD, etc.
- Translate Product/Leadership requirements into visual reports using Tableau
- Build various visualization and tabular reports utilizing internal data stored in AWS and or Snowflake/RedShfit/RDS (some external data sets stored in NewRelic, Service Now, JIRA, etc.)
- Maintain existing reports and ensure their correctness (weekly/daily/monthly/quarterly)
- Visualize ad-hoc requests utilizing MS Excel (pivot tables/charts, etc), Tableau or other tools - some of these carrying quick (<1day) turnaround time
- SQL/NoSQL query optimization and tuning
- Automate manual tasks into recurring automated reports
- Investigate any data/KPI discrepancies and work with various teams to correct them
- Comfortable in presenting reports in a leadership setting
- Maintain up-to-date documentation
MUST
- Build and visualize data using Tableau with SnowFlake, RDS, Redshift as back-end
- Strong SQL expertise
- Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Bitbucket, Grafana, NewRelic, Snowflake, OpenSearch
- Good written/verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving, and analytical abilities
- Good planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
