The project is a strategic initiative focused on management of trading books lifetime, their consistency and relationships across Investment Bank and other Bank structures. Thousands of users all over the world and dozens of other applications within the Bank rely on the system and information it provides in their daily work.
We work with data platform for clients, trading accounts and instruments within a bank, maintaining data gathering, accumulation, clean up, match and merge, distribution and adoption.
Wide range of front end and backend applications, Java- and ETL- based server-side logic; SOAP and RESTful web services, messaging services (EMS, JMS, ORACLE advanced queuing), ORACLE DB and integrations of all of those components are subject of testing in the department.
- Design, develop and/or re-engineer complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs on multiple platforms
- Collaborate with Stakeholders, BAs, PMs and developers to troubleshooting issues, discuss requirements, find a common solutions
- Assist other delivery team members if needed.
- Support and drive migration to the Azure Cloud.
MUST
- Oracle database, SQL, sqlplus, stored procedures, triggers, packages.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and technical curiosity are essential
- Good understanding of core computer science concepts and code optimization techniques
- Ability to drive the process, suggest new approaches, ideas, solutions.
- Experience in Scrum / Agile methodology
- Hands-on knowledge of scripting (Shell, Javascript, Python or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience in DB administration
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery with Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity or similar tools
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Investment banking experience and Banking related background
