Calypso Developer

THE WORK:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot 3.x
• Work with Nasdaq Calypso platform to support and enhance financial systems
• Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka, JMS/ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ
• Develop and optimize database queries using SQL Developer
• Implement testing strategies (unit, integration, and functional) using JUnit and related tools
• Apply secure coding practices and contribute to improving application reliability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions based on clean code and design patterns

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. • 3+ years of commercial experience as a Java Backend Developer
• Experience with Nasdaq Calypso software
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot 3.x
• Experience with messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ/JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Experience with SQL Developer
• Experience in writing tests (unit, integration, functional) using JUnit or similar libraries
• Understanding of secure coding practices and common application vulnerabilities
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code principles
• Understanding of application observability concepts, including logging and metrics
• Good written and spoken English (B2+)
• Ownership mindset, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills
