Our team, developing a cloud-native product, is spread across multiple locations around the world. In Gliwice, you would develop microservices as a member of a full stack team that has end-to end responsibility for their part of the product.

In your role, you will be expected to:

  • Further develop and enhance Intelligent Selling Services for SAP Commerce Cloud product (Java and/or JVM-related technologies)
  • Take ownership of what you develop – from the design of a feature through the first lines of code to how it performs in production (You build it, you run it)
  • Build and help operate a highly scaleable cloud application
  • Contribute to ensuring high-quality code by following best practices, test automation, and design patterns
  • Actively participate in addressing non-functional requirements such as performance, security, continuous integration, and compatibility
  • Be an active member of one of our self-empowered Scrum teams producing software according to Agile principles in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Be eager to learn and develop new skills
  • Have a passion for delivering frequent, high-quality results
  • Check out new technologies and introduce them to others to promote innovation and create business value

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development (JVM-related languages and frameworks preferred)
  • Good knowledge of new cloud-oriented technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Experience in networks and RESTFUL API
  • Basic knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
  • Basic knowledge of microservice architecture
  • Strong interest in reactive and functional programming
  • Ability to explain technical problems and understand business requirements
  • Following news, trends, and emerging technologies within the software development area
  • Good verbal and written English (B1)
  • Sharing your work that you are proud of would be an asset (working projects, technical blogs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS (preferably) , Azure, Google Cloud, would be a plus
