Description of the position:

In Your role as a Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of approx. 20 - 30 employees (currently only software engineers but that can be changed in the future). At the same time, you will be part of the delivery team, therefore good knowledge in technical and operational aspects as well as willingness to develop the business context of stock exchange processes management is expected.

We are looking for a pragmatist with an agile mindset, problem-solver who works in close coordination with the product owners, the business (data) experts, development engineers and operation engineers, as well as with the other chapter leads from Frankfurt.

What you will be doing? 👇

  • Team building, including recruitment of the new team members (software engineers)
  • Technical leadership in modern technology stacks GUI (React, Angular, etc), Database & Analytics, API development, Cloud-based services, Container, CI/CD
  • Project leadership and cross-functional reporting of the projects’ status to the line management
  • Ensuring that professional and methodological training is provided in own area of responsibility, creating conditions for knowledge transfer
  • Responsibility for ensuring workplace health and safety for all employees
  • Support for young talents (eg. creation of talent development plans)
  • Obligation to cooperate in cross-cluster management

Alternative task:

  • Support of development, rollouts, acceptance tests, etc.,
  • Support of change, incident, and problem management;
  • Support local DTC in various programs, e.g Skills@Work, Promotional events, etc.

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌

  • Experience in development and operations in a hybrid environment, e.g. on-premise and cloud, central and decentral environments (mandatory);
  • Know-how of supporting the rollout-activities and setup of infrastructure (e.g. database connectivity, data-transfer, API configuration) (mandatory);
  • Experience in cloud solutions, requirements, integration;
  • Support in testing, error correction and quality assurance as well as 3rd-level support in the context of productive maintenance;
  • Knowledge of automation of technical process controls/job scheduling;
  • English - B2 level
