We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who will be part of an international team of 5, located in Poland, UK and Germany. The product management team for software, of which you will be part, plays a vital role to achieve Diebold Nixdorf corporate vision and strategy defining the entire lifecycle of the software portfolio. The team is key to the company’s success in the years to come.


If you like to devise software products and its localization including coverage of legal and fiscal requirements, develop product requirements and business cases, and oversee product execution then we have the perfect role for you!


Location: This role can be done fully remotely from anywhere in Poland 


Your tasks

Responsibilities:
  • Identify clients’ business and technical needs specific to fiscal and regulatory requirements in different countries across the world and translate them into product localization packages by describing criteria, user stories and generate relevant specifications to initiate and drive development,
  • Co-work closely with development teams to ensure implementation as planned and sync on backlog and development execution in relevant sessions such as grooming’s,
  • Drive a backlog and it’s priorities to support planning and delivery in software releases,
  • Define and (further) develop the Retail Software localization portfolio, requirements, business case, use cases and roadmap,
  • Lead and communicate Product requirements and roadmap in regards to software localization to the broader DN organization, our partners and customers,
  • Create sales enablement training and documentation for the sales channel,
  • Enable sales engagement managers, solution architects, delivery teams and presales consultants with systems, tools and procedures required to onboard customers with ease.
 

Who we're looking for?

Required Experience:
  • Leadership and subject matter expertise in Localization and fiscalization Product ownership, ideally with building SaaS-based platforms, App extension frameworks and API-based software platforms/products.
  • Proven experience and excellent understanding of regulatory and fiscal aspects such as anti-money laundering cash limits for retailers, fiscalization, taxes / tax exemptions, invoice rules and the ability preferably to introduce on a large scale and to global projects.
  • Understand and can apply strategic business and/or retail experience to help drive business decisions, manage the product with business acumen.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization – senior management, team members, peers, and partners.
  • Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop, execute strategies, track and measure results.
  • Proven capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • The individual should be equally effective working with commercial teams such as product marketing, regional offer managers, and industry solution managers.
