Project description

In your role as a Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of approx. 15-20 employees (engineers, Scrum Masters, Business Experts, Product Owners).

At the same time, you will be part of the delivery team, therefore good knowledge in technical and operational aspects as well as willingness to develop a business context of Document Lifecycle is expected.

Experience working for Commerzbank/Systems for a minimum of 1,5 – 2 years would be helpful.

Your tasks

Your main tasks are:

  • Line management of direct reports
  • Recruit new team members
  • Appropriate use of personnel management instruments
  • Active role model function for the agile methodology and a strong focus on customers and service
  • Acting as one important role in an agile organization, i.e. matrix-like setup
  • Obligation to cooperate in cross-cluster management
  • Ensuring that future-ready professional and methodological training is provided in own area of responsibility; creating conditions for knowledge transfer; potentially willing to take on training projects, speaker functions and mentorships
  • Responsibility for ensuring workplace health and safety for all employees within their own area of responsibility
  • Support for young talents
  • Ensuring that team members in their own area of responsibility always meet compliance requirements; strict compliance with regulatory training requirements; actively promoting awareness of compliance-related issues among the staff

Alternative Tasks and/or (depending on demand and skills)

  • support the delivery and operations of Document Lifecycle
  • support of development, rollouts, acceptance tests, etc.
  • support of change, incident and problem management

Who we're looking for?

What we expect from you:

  • Good knowledge of development and operations procedures (e.g. DevOps)
  • Experience in HP-Service Manager and ITIL
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD

Alternative Skills:

Experience in development and/or maintenance of applications in Windows/Linux environments

Experience in job scheduling and analysis, ideally UC4

Experience in the usage of monitoring tools, ideally Dynatrace and/or Tivoli

Experience in cloud solutions, requirements, integration

Foreign language skills:

  • English B2 level - mandatory
  • German - nice to have

Personal Skills:

  • Good analytic thinking with attention to detail to solve problems
  • Proactively driving projects and tasks to deliver results
  • Customer orientation and ownership attitude for the assigned responsibilities to deliver results in time and in line with the clients need
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, in particular in a matrix-setup
  • High flexibility and adaptability to a fast-changing environment
  • Good team player with a high ability to work in cross-locational and international teams
  • Strong willingness to learn and execute new technologies and approaches in person and for the team
