Requirements

Experience level: Mid

-Broad knowledge of standard system tools to use during deployment and troubleshooting - Working knowledge of HP hardware and Vmware VM’s - Administer and troubleshoot Unix Operating System Linux – Rhel 6 and 7 - Configure / Troubleshooting of Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server and Veritas Netbackup Client - Understanding of Network OSI Model, TCP/IP and Routing - Analyse logs, track and resolve complex software/hardware matters relating o networking connectivity issues, server and application - EMC SAN lun configuration on Unix (AIX/Solaris/Linux), SRDF and non-SRDF - Understating of LVM, VxVM, and Multipath devices, configure and troubleshoot. - Dealing with Complex/Escalated issues

The Team: Compliance IT KYC/CDD Environment Team Support Customer Due Diligence, GBM NGTG, NGTW, GDR, Financial Crime Risk Management, Pandora, Risk Assessment Management and CTU programs, which are enhanced and consistent global Customer Due Diligence standards to enable HSBC to prevent individuals, entities and affiliates from using its facilities for the purposes of financial crime. The KYC/CDD Programs are enterprise-wide initiatives to implement the HSBC Global Anti-Money Laundering Policy and is an integral pillar of the HSBC Anti-Money Laundering Program (“Program” or “AML Program”). The purpose of the KYC/CDD Programme is to outline the internal risk-based CDD procedures to be implemented by HSBC and its financial institution affiliates and to establish governing principles to protect them from being used to launder money, finance terrorism or to evade sanctions requirements. Our core objective: The core objective of the KYC/CDD Programme is to implement an enhanced global Customer Due Diligence standard, in line with the HSBC Global AML Policy for all customers to enable HSBC to prevent individuals and entities from using its facilities for the purposes of financial crime. Key Accountabilities: • Completion of incidents/ Change Requests / GSRs / Problem Records / work orders, • 24/7 availability of Support for any critical rollouts, • Audit & Agent remediation, Server Demise, • Provide the technical support within the agreed Service Levels, • Status communication and timely reporting, • Interact with application teams and other infrastructure teams, Support Teams, Various Platform Owners, • Maintain good service quality scores (error free environment), • Avoid impacts & risks to services & systems, • Participate in crisis calls as applicable, • Proactively identify problem situations and resolve to give maximum customer satisfaction, • Escalation used only where necessary, appropriate measures are taken to improve and sustain high quality and prevent recurrence, • Prioritize impact and criticality of Work items, servers with issues which are critical and need to be resolved on an urgent basis, • Documentation of processes as it assists in sharing best practice with the team, • Act as a buddy to the new joiners and junior colleagues to help them settle and take up work in the project, • Ensure the tasks are handled within the audit guidelines, • Attend business meetings, • Suggest process enhancement, • Adhere to process reviews by HSM/Group, ensure strict adherence HSBC Group Compliance Policies.
